Team Skills

Manage skills that everyone on the team can use. Team Skills appear in each member's "Roles & Skills Library" under the Skills tab with a Team badge, and the AI selects them automatically based on context.

Only team admins can add, edit, or delete skills on this screen. Members have view-only access.

Skills vs. roles (prompt policies)

Creating a Team Skill

  1. Open TeamSkills in the navigation
  2. Click + Add skill
  3. Enter a Skill name
  4. In Description for AI, briefly describe when this skill should be used
  5. In Content, write the steps you want the AI to follow
  6. Click Save changes

The "Description for AI" is what the AI uses to decide when to invoke the skill automatically. Be specific about use cases and prerequisites.

Editing or deleting a Team Skill

Selecting a skill in the list opens the edit screen. Use Save changes to update the content, or Delete to revoke distribution. Deleting a skill also removes it from members' skill libraries.

How it appears for members

  • Distributed Team Skills automatically appear in each member's "Roles & Skills Library" under the Skills tab
  • Members cannot edit the content. To customize a skill, they can use Copy as custom
  • Whether the AI invokes the skill automatically depends on the state of the member's Use by default toggle
